We would like to introduce our musical group MOONDANCE. We perform a wide variety of musical standards and classics featuring swing, big band, jazz, ballads, oldies rock & roll, old school rhythm & blues, Motown, ballroom dance music, pop standards of the Great American Songbook, and more. Our basic ensemble consists of drums, guitar, keyboard, bass, saxophone, with male and female lead vocalists.

MOONDANCE has been in business since 1988 and has played throughout Southern California for a diverse clientele. MOONDANCE are members of the American Federation of Musicians. We have performed at many concerts and social functions such as dinners, dances, weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, picnics, corporate events, night clubs, social clubs; you name it, MOONDANCE can do it.

Some of our venues include The Beverly Hilton, Four Seasons, Century Plaza, Regent Beverly Wilshire, Sheraton Universal, The Biltmore, The Queen Mary, Avalon Theater, L.A. Zoo, L.A. Marathon, Beverly Hills Art Festival, Fisherman’s Village-Marina Del Rey, Calamigos Ranch.

Some of our clients have included Pasadena Ballroom Dance Association, The Sky Room at the Breakers Hotel, Monrovia Summer Concerts in the Park, California Yacht Club, Victoria Country Club, Hawthorne Chamber of Commerce, Northrop Aircraft Corp., Anti-Defamation League, K Hotels & Resorts, L.A. Department of Parks and Recreation/Pershing Square Concerts, Santa Monica Festival, Fiesta La Ballona/Culver City-Veterans Park, and the Los Angeles Arts Commission Annual Holiday Celebration at the Music Center.

We offer various combinations from 1 to 10 pieces. We can provide musicians for wedding ceremonies and cocktail hour. A band member will also perform the duties of MC.
